Ugh!!  It's Monday and time to go back to work.  But you may want to consider this alert from the Centers for Disease Control!!

THE CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL HAS ISSUED A MEDICAL ALERT ABOUT A HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS, POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS VIRUS THAT IS TRANSMITTED ORALLY, BY HAND, AND EVEN ELECTRONICALLY.

THIS VIRUS IS CALLED WEARY OVERLOAD RECREATIONAL KILLER (WORK). IF YOU RECEIVE WORK FROM YOUR BOSS, ANY OF YOUR CO-WORKERS, OR ANYONE ELSE VIA ANY MEANS WHATSOEVER-DO NOT TOUCH IT. THIS VIRUS WILL WIPE OUT YOUR PRIVATE LIFE COMPLETELY.

IF YOU SHOULD BE EXPOSED TO WORK YOU SHOULD IMMEDIATELY LEAVE THE PREMISES. TAKE TWO GOOD FRIENDS TO THE NEAREST GROCERY STORE AND PURCHASE ONE OR BOTH OF THE ANTIDOTES-WORK ISOLATING NEUTRALIZER EXTRACT (WINE) AND BOTHERSOME EMPLOYER ELIMINATION REBOOTER (BEER). TAKE THE ANTIDOTE REPEATEDLY UNTIL WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETELY ELIMINATED FROM YOUR SYSTEM.

I feel just like this every now and then...


Q: How many women with MENOPAUSE does it take to change a light bulb?


Woman's Answer: One!

ONLY ONE!!!! And do you know WHY? Because no one else in this house knows HOW to change a light bulb! They don't even know that the bulb is BURNED OUT!! They would sit in the dark for THREE DAYS before they figured it out.

And, once they figured it out, they wouldn't be able to find the stupid light bulbs despite the fact that they've been in the SAME CABINET for the past 17 YEARS! But if they did, by some miracle of God, actually find them, 2 DAYS LATER, the chair they dragged to stand on to change the STUPID light bulb would STILL BE IN THE SAME SPOT!!!!! AND UNDERNEATH IT WOULD BE THE WRAPPER THE FREAKING LIGHT BULBS CAME IN!!! BECAUSE NO ONE EVER PICKS UP OR CARRIES OUT THE GARBAGE!!!! IT'S A WONDER WE HAVEN'T ALL SUFFOCATED FROM THE PILES OF GARBAGE THAT ARE A FOOT DEEP THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE!!

IT WOULD TAKE AN ARMY TO CLEAN THIS PLACE! AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON WHO CHANGES THE TOILET PAPER ROLL !!

A Little Funny

Woo Hoo today is the day that we work on our mystery quilts.  I promise I will have some pictures to share.

I have been having an issue with one of my knees lately.  I hate to admit that I am getting old, not to mention that there is far more weight bearing down on that knee than should be.  But needless to say it has been bothering me, swelling up, and I have been walking funny. A friend of mine sent me this cartoon - I really shouldn't open things like this at work - I howled with laughter.
